So as you might have already figured out, I'm Georgina. I'm the driving force behind this website (to be completely up my own ass about it..) although I must give some credit to one of my best friends, Laelah who is also contributing some pretty good gems and we're hoping that one day, this website will be an amazing portfolio of all the amazing things we're capable of.
So why did I decide to make a blog on here? Well the reason I've been telling people is so that I can more easily keep track of the changes I've been making to the site (instead of just deleting the evidence and pretending it was this perfect all along) but that, of course, is just a partial reason. The other reason is so that I have a way of letting off some steam in the coming months.
Why will I need to be letting off steam? Well let's just say; I got onto a computing degree course which will allow me to pursue my current dreams as far as I can! Now, I'm not deluding myself here - a degree course is going to be tough, least of all because I.. errr... struggle with authority. I'm not saying I'm little Miss God-Awful to teach but if I can't see any benefits to what I'm doing then it's unlikely that I can be motivated to do it. Going to be difficult trying to get that under control though!
So that's the big news out of the way and the reason it's going to be good for this site is because I will finally be actually updating this site far more often than it has been - getting on this course has given me the motivation and vision to see where I want this site to go and that's always good!
In the run-up to my course, I will be trying to get the site to a point where it's not just a skeleton anymore and something to really be proud of - and I won't stop there, during my course I will be keeping this site up to date and it will eventually be a portfolio of everything that's useful (at least to me... I'm sort of hoping that if it's useful to me, then some areas will also be useful to others) For example, you may already have noticed that most of the website has undergone a bit of a massive overhaul and many areas that were previously unreleased are now ready and waiting to be seen! We're moving away from our one-game fixation and towards a site that really shows off our passions.
In the next few days, I'll be adding reviews that I've written for a lot of the games I play and also some more roleplay stories will be going up in their relevant sections. Focussing on bringing in the new stuff isn't going to stop me from also continuing some things that are already up - Autumn Starr for one has a huge update in the works for her story!
I guess this is really enough for a little intro... And yes it's purposefully boring. The more boring it seems at the beginning, the less likely people are to read on to the more interesting things, which suits a shy-guy like me just fine! (I'm kind of hoping noone will ever read this part of the site!)
