1. Go into the game and activate the cheat:
testingcheatsenabled true
2. Shift+click on Chryseis (for example) and click "save sim to bin"
3. Do that for all the sims in the family and deactivate the cheat by typing:
testingcheatsenabled false
4. Then exit without saving and start a completely new game in whichever town you want them in (if you're not planning on returning the family to the original save).
5. Select create-a-family, All the family members should be in the pre-made sims section (the 6 silhouettes of sims on 1 tab) and add them into the family. It should have an option to edit relationships/family tree.
6. Once that's done, continue as if you're starting a new game with them but don't select a house. (Unless you aren't bothered about keeping the old house & savegame) Save and exit to the main menu.
7. Open the save that you were using for Chryseis and Malakai etc and select "Edit Town"
8. Evict the original family from the house and delete them from the clipboard.
9. Move in their editted-in-CAS family that should be showing on the Library under households.
10. You might need to move them into a cheap house and then use the money cheat to get their money back so they can move back in; to do this in Edit Town, move them into a cheap lot, type in "testingcheatsenabled true" and then "familyFunds Truehart 180000" (substitute the 180000 with any amount you need them to have; Truehart being the Household Name in our example). Deactivate the testingcheatsenabled cheat and evict the family from the cheap house. Place the family (which should now be on the clipboard to the left and not in the library) into the house you want them in.
11. Before returning to the game, make sure you check the tab saying "make this the active family"
