Tab-mode is an insanely useful tool for the budding Sim Legacy story teller. It removes the user interface and allows more accurate camera movement so that you can get the perfect shot or video - perfect for story-telling!
Tab Mode Controls
These are the extra controls to move around in Tab Mode. Usually I have the option "enable object hiding" in the Options menu unchecked so it shows furniture on all levels of the house. I would recommend going up to the highest level of the house you can (above the roof) before entering tab mode and then moving to wherever you want the photo - you'll sink through floors and move through walls like a ghost so being on the right level doesn't matter - in fact, it removes the ceiling view!
Moving the mouse will move the view.. the mouse is like your head lol.
Q - Move up towards the sky
E - Move down towards the ground
Z - Zoom In
X - Zoom Out
V - Start recording video, hit again to stop recording video
C - Take a Screenshot
Shift+A - Roll the camera in a sort of loop-the-loop in an anti-clockwise direction
Shift+D - Roll the camera in a sort of loop-the-loop in a clockwise direction
Directional Arrows - move in that direction
Ctrl+[5-9] - Set a particular camera angle to a saved preference :) this is useful if you go up to the roof before entering tab mode (I use it so much lol) as you can move to each floor of the house and save the spot for instant access later - I use this for any spot that I find myself taking pictures from regularly as well like birthday cake location or Azzy's sculpture table :) you can only have 5 at one time though (one for ctrl+5, another for ctrl+6 and so on) and if you re-use the same "slot" it'll write over your previous save slot.
Shift+[5-9] - Use this to instantly have the camera move to your saved camera angles :) so say you used ctrl+5 to save an angle for Azzy's Easel, when you click shift+5 the camera will snap to that angle
